He's pissed off playing for a losing franchise. He wants to win. He's pissed off playing in front of more away fans. He wants to play in front of a full house of Jets fans. Suits me, pal. We need more like him. He speaks the truth. Sure he could express himself a little better at times, but he cares. I'll take a player who gives a shit over one who doesn't every day of the week, and twice on Sunday.
My first thought when reading this was: "Here it is. Another step in the direction of out the door". Anyone who believes Adams is a "bleed green" player is delusional. He's got passion, but it's for sale to the highest bidder, preferably one who can likely produce a championship run. If Douglas is smart, he robs the Cowboys or Saints of a big ransom for him.
That should be the real discussion in this thread. I remember before my dad cancelled his newspaper subscription there would just be a stack of 10 newspapers at the bottom the driveway, each one was soaking wet and covered in mud because they've been out there so long. The guy didn't even read em, just left em at the bottom of the driveway for aesthetic.
I felt disrespected when they ignored or just flat out sucked at drafting offense almost simultaneous with the NFL being more & more scoring oriented, over the last 10 years. THAT is special kind of stupidity. And yet they STILL took yet ANOTHER interior DL w a top 5 pick in the last draft. Absolutely no clue.
I agree honestly if he feels disrepected tell him to take it up with the Johnsons. They created this mess. Yes, they might have fixed it with Doulas (verdict is still out) but what about the past 10 years.
That’s probably true, but going after the fans is not usually the way to go. Win some football games. Then we can talk
Jamal was part the 2 Safeties Back to Back Draft nonsense pulled off by Toilet Bowles and McAwfulnan Maye has disappeared on us but Jamal makes plays and has been a pleasant surprise (a player Drafted on D who's paid dividends I'll fondly remember his contributions after we part ways with him
May hasn't disappeared. He has played decent this year. But his first 2 years were injury riddled. He could still be good if he stays healthy and develops. Honestly those 2 picks and darnold are the best we've had for a while. Cashman and Blessuan could work out, maybe Edoga as well, but we have drafted really awful for a long long time.
Sure I like him, but this behavior is absurd. In the sports media that game is ancient history. And he still feels "disrespected". There wasn't even that many Raiders fans at that game. There wasn't many fans PERIOD Better get ready for a sea of yellow and gold on Sunday, but you know what...they do that in every stadium. The team has been bad. Frankly it would be a lot worse if he was in Miami or Detroit or Cleveland or Jax regarding opposing fans in your building
His second year was injury riddled, he started all 16 games his rookie year. Don't know why so many fans claim he was injury riddled year one.
Marcus Maye just flat out hasn't been that good. Not worth the 2nd round pick when we already drafted a top safety and needed an offense presence desperately. Dalvin Cook was right there for the taking. Guys like Shuster and Kamara also went after Maye. The offensive talent was staring us in the face and we take a mediocre S
