Sanchez is better than any of those guys. Hilarious that some here have gone from being Sanchez worshippers to haters. Lunatic fans ... Sanchez will be the starting QB next season and guess what???? he's going to have a good season.... LMAO !!!!
its not a coincidence that the cardinals went 5-0 with kevin kolb and then once he went down they only 1 more game the rest of the season. id be happy if we brought him in
Ask any NFL analyst if they think Sanchez is a top 20 QB. Ask any NFL fan if they'd want Sanchez on their team. Ask any NFL GM to speak off the record about Sanchez. I bet there will be a lot of negative answers. The guy is terrible and doesn't deserve to start.
Sure, why not? We have his first OC now after all, the very same OC that guided him to his ludicrous AZ contract. Maybe Marty can do something with him. He's accurate and is a perfect WCO QB.
I never said anything about hating Sanchez. He needs to prove it on the field, we can talk all we want, but the fact still remains, he hasn't been good since the Jets - Giants game in 2011. If he doesn't come out guns blazing, he's cooked as the Jets QB.
Make it a half a dozen. I'll still rooting for Sanchez at least through the start of 2013 but I got one foot off the bandwagon.
I can't think of very many QBs who couldn't beat out Sanchez in a fair competition. The thing is.. I don't think any QB is going to get a fair shake from Rex. The guy has a tattoo of his wife in a Sanchez jersey for crying out loud! If these past 4 years hasn't shown us that Rex won't bench Sanchez until it is too late, I don't know what will. Unless Sanchez just has an awful.. and I mean awful preseason..he is going to be the starting QB even if he doesn't look like the best QB in preseason. Rex believes Mark gives the Jets the best chance to win and he doesn't care if he can't tell you why he believes it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ar7T8ra6i9I
Kolb wasn't bad in Philly, he played well under Morninwheg, I'd kick the tires on him here with Marty as our OC.
I like Kolb more than pretty much any other realistic option with no compensation. None of these options are particularly appealing, but we knew that going in. Sanchez had no viable competition. If the Jets thought Tebow could play, he would have played. I don't think they viewed McElroy as a legitimate option. I think Rex would be much more comfortable turning his career over to Kolb and Garrard than Tebow and McElroy.
another turnover-prone, weak-armed QB who wilts in the face of pressure to add to the mix of Garrard, Sancho Panza, matt simms, kevin o'connell, mark brunell, and glenn foley (greg mcelroy) jets are treating the QB position like their own personal dung heap It's a joke Tebow got just 1 aribtrarily-timed meaningless series and zero goal-line touches in 2012
Throw him in with the other pile of nothing we have. Maybe one will be ok enough not to embarrass us week one.
I don't think Sanchez is smart enough to run a WCO. I KNOW he is not accurate enough to run a WCO. I have probably seen Kolb play twice. I don't remember him being good. But Sanchez is a negative force, not a neutral, and certainly ot a positive, one. He loses games.
He is probably worse than a lot of backups, it is just that those guys do not compile enough stats to compare. They have to wait behind talented starters
I like this a lot better than Quinn. Him and Sanchez would at least be a legit competition. The fact that he knows the system doesn't hurt either. But how cheap do you think he will come?
