Also Good: The longest yard Mr deeds 50 first dates Airheads and Coneheads (not the star but he had a role in) Zohan was retarded but I liked it Never saw it but punch drunk love was supposedly good he produced Joe Dirt, Deuce Bigalow, Grandmas Boy and Benchwarmers which are great. and the hot chick, Paul blart, and the house bunny which were ok. Click and grown ups were good concepts but fell short imo. The worst one is That's my Boy. That was a piece of shit. Only funny part was Rex ryan is in it and he's a pats fan with an office full of tom Brady shit.
The Longest Yard was good, but I didn't include it since it's a remake. Mr Deeds was a mixture of good and stupid as shit. 50 First Dates was good, but it's overplayed on TV now. I liked Zohan but I left it off as it can go either way.
Yikes, @abyzmul opened up a can of worms with this thread. I see how Sandler is still making money though. Some of you guys are easily pleased it seems. Everyone has their own opinion and comedy is subjective, right? So it is what it is, but I think Sandler is brutal these days and probably the last decade.
[QUOTE="74, post: 3378964, member: 18788" The worst one is That's my Boy. That was a piece of shit. Only funny part was Rex ryan is in it and he's a pats fan with an office full of tom Brady shit.[/QUOTE] I thought that's my boy was better than his other recent stuff because even though it was cheesy it at least was the dirty sandler that made him who he was. He was funny when he was rated R not PG 13
Sandler's movies might suck these days but his old comedy albums (skits & songs) from the 90s were/are funny as fuck, I don't care who he's become. He was dirty and edgy and funny as hell in those. Now he's cute and cheesy like everyone else. fuck that
lastly - I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry is underrated simply because of its gay humor. Honestly, I don't think they could've gotten away with that movie in these Politically Correct times. It amazes me that it was only made in 2007. look at some of these reviews from actual hollywood assbag critics. If the hacks that are hollywood movie reviewers are saying this about your movie, then IDC what anyone says, you are doing it right.--- "They could have focused more on the similarities of best friends and a gay couple. Instead, they just try to offend everyone in sight and then act sorry at the end." "What truly makes [the film] so detestable is its disingenuous attempt to justify itself with a tacked-on call for acceptance of all people and lifestyles." "The film-makers behind I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry would probably claim a message of tolerance and personal growth, but this woeful Adam Sandler vehicle is as nasty a piece of sniggering homophobia as I have seen in a long time." "Adam Sandler and Kevin James ought to be ashamed to be associated with the cinematic equivalent of gay bashing."
