I must say I'm warming up more and more to Sam every time I hear him speak on behalf of the team. Time will tell, but his responses seemed to have substance, well grounded on experience, facts and football knowledge. He appears quite upfront and candid about himself. Something tells me this CS across all three facets of the game will be much more prepared, and the team will be a lot more fun to watch. How refreshing will it be to actually see the CS adjust schemes and formations real time to the opposing team strengths and weaknesses.

Is anyone else a little worried about free agency with Gase as a HC? I mean those reports of discontent, almost mutiny in the dressing room at Miami if Gase would stay as coach.
It's safe to assume that players talk to each other about organizations and coaches when they decide their next team to join. If Gase is difficult to work with, it may not matter how much money we offer to them, they could still decide against coming to NY because of that.
This was actually my biggest worry in hiring Gase in the first place, how his reputation is among the players.

You asked why I use mostly the  & I told U that should have been end of story. Be die hard or not die hard does not change the history that we have been low lifes of the NFL since winning SB3 in 1969 also end of story. BTW your die hardness WILL NOT assist us winning a SB  which is the ONLY thing that will make me alter tme emoji that I use.

Lets C in 2016 Q missed 8 games in 2017 he missed 16 games & in 2018 he missed another 8 games so that meant that out of 48 games played in those 3 years he missed 32 games or 67% of the games that were played between 2016 & 2019. In my book that makes him a very, very undepenable player. Maybe U have some other low standard for players on the roster who do not contribute but to my way of thinking someone who does not contribute like Q should not have a roster spot

This is actually unbelievable. What are the odds champ is looking at that blank line for the bye week and claiming that it’s a missed game?

To be fair, technically Q didn’t play that week.

He is claiming q missed 8 games in 2016. I don’t know where he is getting this from.

Maybe champ is a deeper thinker than we thought. He’s been so far ahead of us intellectually that this whole time HE’S been the one laughing at US while he looks at us in the rearview.

    Or he’s senile.

Trifocals must have slipped a bit.

With all this talk about Kingsbury wanting to draft Murray and trade away Rosen, let’s remember he was a finalist here and lots of Jets fans wanted him.

Suppose Kingsbury became the Jets coach. Does he do the same thing here? Draft Murray at number 3 and try to trade Sam Darnold? I don’t see why he wouldn’t...we may have avoided a disaster

And by the way, he missed 5 games last year not “about another 8”
    So to break it down
2014 red shirted the season. Played last game
2015 missed week 1 on suspension
    2016 played every game
2017 ir before the season started
2018 played 11 of 16 games. Could have played last few games but was shutdown due to irrelevance (reportedly)

I just think with Darnold playing the way he did and Rosen playing the way he did, Kingsbury would not have even brought up Murray's name. As prospects, Darnold and Rosen were close, but after a year of play, despite how bad the Cardinals were, showed who the better player is likely to be.

In fact, I think one of the reasons Kinsbury went to Arizona over here is that he could pick his QB.

That's actually a huge plus. Any player who is looking for a max contract who doesn't want to put in the murderous amount of work and time to help the NY Jets win isn't welcome. If guys are looking to get paid and won't toe the line not getting them is a huge win.

Kingsbury was a huge reach at HC. If Arizona drafts Murray it's to make KK comfortable. We brought in Gase to make Darnold comfortable. Gase is a proven NFL HC. Kingsbury took an OC job at a second rate college program before AZ scooped him up. Gase over KK every day until KK proves he belongs.
