Yea he was sucky the whole time basically. He had the perfect situation too. sad. Pete Carroll was right, he shoulda stayed in college
Goff, Wentz, and Trubisky all made big jumps from Year 1 to Year 2. Also had Mahomes played his rookie year, I'm sure he wouldn't have been nearly as good. So if all those guys can make the jump, I think Darnold can do it too. Especially considering he played better after sitting three weeks with the foot injury.
Lol I trust you understand why Carroll said that and it had zero to do with Sanchez’s readiness or not for the pros.
Darnold is a 21 year old rookie. Look at all the experience your judging him against. Come back when you compare Darnold to this groups rookie seasons.
Braylon never got enough credit for that year. He was at or near the top of the league in drops (he caught damn near everything) that year. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Ellis was a beast that game. He was getting home and allowed Rex to drop 7 . When you can clog the short pasinng game and get pressure on Brady he is done.
I disagree. Many Jets fans say things like that, but it is ridiculous because Mark Sanchez played his best football in the playoffs. The only argument you could make is the Jets could have the #1 seed or home field with better QB play during the season. The actual playoffs Sanchez was good. The Jets had a 17-6 lead in the Colts title game and the defense blew it. He threw an 80 yard touchdown in the AFC title game. The Jets came out completely flat against the Steelers in 2010 and Sanchez still almost led them back. Both AFC Championship Games the defense was pathetic and the reason for the losses, so I don't get how people can say they would have "easily won the Super Bowl" with a better QB.
Yes, he was. Then the Jets came out flat and blew chunks the following week and Ellis later became a Cheat. Oh, well, it was fun while it lasted. Steve Somers was killing me that Monday after the Jets beat the Cheats at home. I wish I could somehow find the audio because it's priceless. "Rangers in seven!" LMAO. The funny thing was, he was criticizing the Jets offense the year he was having all of those horrendous drops. I did enjoy his back flip the following year, though, I gotta say. Hell, I back flipped misself. I am so disgusted that we have to see these assholes again (the Cheats) tomorrow. I'm beyond sick of them. The game is well over 24 hours away and I can already feel the chunks rising.
Haters gonna hate. If you hated Mark for what he helped us do in 2009-2010 you’re an ingrate. He was never the savior, the Sanchize, great. But he was a big part of those 2 runs. Some of the most exciting Jet football in decades.
A snippet form an interview with Gase in today's (1/18/19) NY Post: Q: Do you have a lot of rules? A: Stole John Madden’s: Be on time and play your ass off. It’s not hard. So NOT like Bowles. It could said that Bowles was the anti-Madden (ant-matter?): "Hey sometimes your alarm doesn't go off", and how many half-assed performances did he tolerate? Still questioning this hire, but he's here and I can only hope he does well. From his comments so far, he's a big upgrade over Zombie Bowles.
The Jets didn't score any points outside of the second quarter. The entire team shit themselves in BOTH AFCCG losses.
