Because, Adalius....their teams don't measure up to Rex Ryan's team.

^ That sounds to me like AT is trying to find his way out of New England.

+1. If he says that he wants to sign with the Jets than Belichick is going to try and keep him from the Jets for as long as possible. It sounds like a smoke screen.

Report: Dolphins called off meeting with Taylor
Posted: April 17th, 2010 | NFL.com Staff | Tags: Jason Taylor, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets

The Dolphins have said they won’t make a decision on Jason Taylor until after next week’s draft, NFL.com’s Steve Wyche reported Friday. But there’s more.

According to the Miami Herald, the team canceled a pre-draft meeting with the free-agent linebacker, who’s frustrated by the situation.

The AFC East rival Jets are pursuing Taylor and expect an answer from him before the draft. Taylor is vacationing in Costa Rica, the Herald reports, and will return Monday, at which time he will decide to join the Jets or wait on the Dolphins. He’ll have just three days until the draft begins in New York.

Taylor, a six-time Pro Bowl defensive end who switched to linebacker last season, returned to Miami in 2009 for a second stint after one year with the Redskins. Taylor spent his first 11 NFL seasons with Dolphins, and he has 127.5 career sacks, leading all active NFL players. Joey Porter, Taylor’s ex-Dolphins teammate and now a Cardinal, is next with 92 sacks.
