Any chance that as part of this love for people with low post counts that I could get to view links with fewer than 10 posts? I've been lurking here for several years and don't feel like putting 9 meaningless posts in other threads and bothering people...
Take away location too Pet'. People may feel threatened if they don't happen to live in the city and in some place upstate or something. It's an underdog in the personal information category of the poster's of TGG.
Yah lets take away avatars and names too, we can just post as blank entities. That way everybody is everybody and nobody is anybody. I like the sound of that.
Brooklyn humor is too sophisticated for people outside the borough (i was born there so it's in my DNA).
I just checked the member list and I just realized today is my 4 year anniv. of signing up to TGG.com. It's also the 4 year anniv. of the Shuttle Columbia disaster.
I never understood the whole post count "issue" here to begin with. I don't post all that often but I've been watching the Jets for over 30 years - I think I'm qualified to speak about them without posting 3,000 messages (which could all be ridiculous). Honelstly, I've noticed people who joined around the time I did and have thousands of posts - I have no idea where you guys find the time.
Its amazing how me and GM registered the same day, and hes got nearly 2000 more posts then me.... u whore
That's nothing compared to MM and myself, we joined the same day and he's got me by like 6000. But good for this rule, not many veterans that I saw really even payed attention to it, and if they did, I missed it. Quality gets noticed and remembered, which is why champ is the best.
i average about 6 posts per day. 10Pennington10 averages about 16. He probably reached it quicker then me.
Great idea Petrozza! We all like to read intelligent conversation about the Jets reinforced with facts and well thought out opinions, regardless of the post count. Someone with a low post count in the TGG.com is entitled to their opinion just as much as a member with 500,000 posts in the TGG.com -- A fan is a fan whether they have 1 post or 10,000 posts -- NOBODY should be made to feel that they couldn?t express themselves without being bashed. I will say I do not like these topics because as Jets fans we should not make anyone feel they do not belong here -- We are all fans and are here for the same reason! GO JETS! Peace out.
I was always struggling to build a post count because of my fondness for Bullshit and the fact that my NFL knowledge is limited to punting. I am, however, very proud of my sperm count which came in at a whopping 85million per ml
It was worth reading all 5 pages of this thread, to finish off with this! I needed a good laugh! I like no post count...it's kind of meaningless.
