lazard us 26. a 4 year deal puts him at 30. it makes sense. wilson is here 4 more years as well (3 and an option). it has nothing to do with rodgers. I doubt he plays 4 more years but would be awesome if he did
It's funny, until the Jets trade, I can't ever remember seeing Rodgers smile and since the trade every time I see him he's smiling. I almost think they must have a Rodgers double that they keep trotting out for the cameras. I think Rodgers is right now having more fun than he's had in a very long time. If he keeps having fun and he continues to enjoy playing, I think he could play 4 more years.
it's pretty clear he's having fun and has the desire to play more, but even if the mind is willing the body isn't. rarely does a QB really last past 40-41 years old. most break down around 37-40. rodgers will be 40 in december. brady was the only exception and his care regimen was way higher then rodgers is and plus he barely took hits in his career, and barely ran. I wouldn't expect rodgers to physically last more then 2 seasons. at bets case maybe a 3rd season but it would be like peytons where the mind was sharp but the arm wasn't
