maybin actually beat the chargers LT (albeit backup LT) with a spin move to the inside and got a QB hit off of it

i had to rewind like 3 times to make sure my eyes werent deceiving me ... if he works that move into his arsenal he can be a very good dpr

I was so sour on Ghost that I never gave this guy a chance in the beginning but he's taking advantage of his second chance with a vengeance. I love being wrong in this context. (As much as I love being wrong about McKnight.)
He looks to be getting better with every week so we should have a much better and much needed pass rush from here.

He's the anti Gholston. Seriously, these guys are 2 totally different people and football players. Gholston was thick, slow, chiseled and had zero motor or passion for the game. Maybin is lean, lightning fast, and has a turbo motor inside him, plus an obvious enthusiasm for football.

Gholston will probably admit in time that although he enjoyed that ridiculous money he did not like the game that much.

He was in the scrap heap before we picked him up. No one was even sniffing around him and his reputation out of Buffalo was as shot as Gholston's was leaving us. We took a chance because we had ZERO pass rush, and it's worked out. The Bears took the same chance with Gholston and it didn't.

He's no Gholston, but he's no Gastineau yet either.

Maybin is a beast. How long is he signed for? He's like the only guy who gets any sacks for us.

He's the only LB we have that's faster than a QB.

Saw some Wide 9 from him today, he was getting double teamed in the 3rd Qtr.

He gets off right as the ball is snapped too (aside from the offsides), very good anticipation skills

I have to rewatch but he was breathing down Fitz' neck on a bad throw in EZ.
    Maybe the one Poole defended

Maybin is one of the reasons why I sour on the front office. The guy was clearly our best pass rusher in the preseason only to get cut. He should of been here from the onset. Lucky for the jets, nobody picked him up.

He continues to improve which is great to see. I don't even need to say I love his effort even though his technique sucks and he gets blocked out of every play anymore. His effort is great and he has himself under much better control when he is engaged with a blocker now.
