Yeah I'll take a coach who developed Qb's before, had success in both the college and Nfl level, over someone who had a shitty defense and had 12 man on the field in a crucial playoff spot any day. What part of Aaron Glenns accomplishments as a coach should I be excited about explain, maybe im missing something?
If you need proof that he will falter here, just look at Woody's past 10 hirings. He has shown absolutely nothing that proves he can be a good coach or even a average coach. Pete Carroll already proved he is a good coach.
One is a SB winning HC that turns a flailing franchise into a perennial powerhouse. The other was a mediocre DC for 4 years. Yeah, totally better off with the DC.
We’re on our 6th 1st time HC that was formerly a DC since Woody was hired. 6th. We’ve had one of the most futile franchises during that period, setting multiple all time records of futility. We literally have just done the same thing we did 5 times before, only the current DC wasn’t even all that successful as a DC. Maybe that’s the difference? Hire a guy that was just average at his last job?

The romanticizing of Pete Carroll really is something. Since his last Super Bowl appearance he coached 9 years. They made the playoffs in 5 of them. Didn't make it past the wildcard in 3 of them. Never made it past the divisional. But he's going to take over one of the worst franchises that has no QB and inept ownership and make them a powerhouse?
