thats the last thing we need. the no fun league taking the fun out of things that it doesnt need to...
They should name the league trophy after McCagnan or Idzik since every other player I saw was a former failed draft pick of theirs. Christian Hackenberg (still sucks, BTW) Zac Stacy Jalen Marshall others I'm not remembering
https://noextrapoints.com/ They have to get much better with this. And HOLY CRAP*** Hack sucks. I cannot believe this guy was drafted in RD2.
Welp. Since I'm living in San Antonio, it looks like I'm a Commanders fan. It was fun to watch the game last night. That hard hitting sack and the game ending interception were amazing to see.
John Wolford was on the Jets as a training camp arm. Tossed 4 TDSs. Made some nice throws. Nick Folk was kicking also
I watched at least a little bit of all the games. For some reason this league really interests me. The best player I saw though was Orlando Apollos linebacker Terence Garvin #51. He was all over the field, a tackling machine and 2 INTs. ProFootball reference says he has played for a handful of NFL teams. Looks like he was mostly a special teamer. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/G/GarvTe00.htm If I'm an NFL team I'm bringing him to camp this year. He looked head and shoulders above his peers in that league
Yeah, it looks like the Orlando Apollos are 'representing' Miami, the Giants, the Jets, and Tampa Bay. Will post link later. The AAF official website is kind of lame it was hard to even find scores.
I watched a lot of AAF this weekend and I came away very impressed. There were a few technical difficulties with the television broadcast, but the game itself was very entertaining. I am tuning in next week and I would recommend it to anyone who is a football junkie.
Didnt see any games, but saw a bit of Spurrier's press conference. "Well... we didn't get 50, but over 40 and a win is still pretty good" lol...... then said something about creating plays to make it fun for the fans. Dude's pretty classic.
There were some vintage spurrier clips Saturday night. Him micd up calling in a play and saying”and tell him to catch it this time” was great. His post game on field interview was great spurrier. Football is better when the ol’ ball coach is involved
