It was just on. Thats the second time I heard Keyshan Johnson explain how to beat Revis..he is so cocky about it. Rough him up all game...use your height and strength to pound at him...then just use your height down field. What kind of career does this guy thinks he has had? Probably not even close to the 8 or so receivers Revis shutdown this year.
Because he doesnt have to. He doesnt need to cheat. Johnson is truly an asshole with no knowledge about this guy at all.
You think it's just that knucklehead? I have watched every single "anal-ist" this weekend, Horseface (Shanon Sharpe): " Even though he has shut down every WR this year, I don't believe he stops VJ".... Rod "living up to his first name" Woodson: " Revis can be beaten blah blah blah" Ron " Kellen Clemens is the best QB in the draft" Jaworski: " Laverneous Coles was spinning Revis around like a top. Revis can and will be beaten" That is just a few off the top of my head................
The Jaws comment i never got, Dwight Lowery was on Coles... and oh by the way Michael Irvin needs to stop blowing the boys.... Revis has been beaten up in the press all week, are you kidding? He is going to be furious about not getting the DPOY on top of it, the man will be possessed today!
Right... because all those things have happened all season. The guy has been beaten by one guy on one play all year. I hope Rivers goes after hm because he'll learn as quickly as Brady and Moss did in week 2 that once your on Revis Island you can't get off. I just don't think Rivers is as smart as Brady...he'll get picked and instead of going after the other CB's he'll continue to go after Revis and get picked again.
I was kind of flabbergasted too. He said, " I watched the tape and Coles spun Revis around like a top." That is word for word. I am not making that shit up.
I really am wondering what these so called experts watch. They epect Revis to get burned significantly today. Revis hasn't been regularly burned by an opposing WR even in his rookie year. They are fucking idiots if you ask me.
They are making VJ out to be the best WR in the fucking game. He is very good but to put in the elite category with Moss , Johnson and Steve Smith is stupid. I'm sure if they were playing Houston they'd have a reason why he couldn't handle Johnson again.
I get this feeling that the very first play of the game, Rivers/San Diego are going right at Revis to set the tone. I am definitely going to be watching for this.
Yes I think you may be right... when Revis picks it and brings it back for 6 I wonder if Rivers will then be a believer? My guess is he's cocky enough to try and beat him. He's heard all week that Revis is unbeatable so you know he's gonna wanna prove people wrong.
