A thought on #4 and a safety

    he looks much faster on film. nobody in the NFL runs 40 yards in a straight line let alone in shorts on any play.
    hamilton has insane range and football IQ and elite instincts so he can play faster. look at this INT at :51



    he starts at opposite hash. when QB bails he follows and winds up on the close hash when the QB releases. he reads the ball and b-lines it to the sideline and makes the sideline diving catch. that means he covers about 20 yards after the ball is released from the QB while tracking it and makes the catch.

    I honestly haven't watched enough tape of Hamilton, but one of the biggest strengths attributed to him is his sky high football intelligence and ability to read and react to plays. To me this is a key difference-making trait because you really can't teach it - either you have it or you don't. It's one of the reasons I was - and still am - high on Zach Wilson.
