You're conflating people talking about the way Mike White played the last game to people saying he's some sort of 1:1 comparison.

After seeing how Darnold's done in Carolina, how Flacco did replacing Darnold when Darnold was hurt, and how the 49ers have done when Garoppolo's been hurt, I think Garoppolo would have done better here than Darnold did. Not good but better than Darnold.
