Maybe never, you know the playoffs aren't a given. Your team has a lot of holes.

We aren't quite as rock solid as the 2007 WS Champion NY mets but we are pretty good.

Our holes aren't really that big, truth be told. Our pitching has been suffering from the injury bug, but that will be fixed soon. If not, we have the talent in the system to make up for it.

As for the lineup, there isn't a hole anywhere, except maybe Melky Cabrera, and he'll be back on the bench Monday when Matsui returns.

The only other thing is the defense, which seems to have recovered over the past few games.

This year, much moreso than last, I think we have a very good shot to see another Subway Series.

Any time now. The playoffs are weird man. You can't judge players based on a handful of AB's. The Cardinals terrible pitching staff got hot last year and carried them to a WS win, while in the NLCS Puljos had 1 RBI and the likes of Scott Spezio and Yadier Molina had 5 and 6 respectively.

No, A-Rod hasn't played well in the postseason the last couple years but you can say the same about most of the other Yankees as well. It's stupid to put it all on his shoulders.

You have a nice little team. Good enough for the Wild Card if you get the breaks.

Well, with Toronto and Boston playing well this year, we may just have to settle for the WC. That's enough though. All that matters is getting in. Then you take care of business.

I'm dying to see a Subway Series. These two teams would be exciting to watch head-to-head.

Every yankee has had at leat a moment in the last 2 postseasons EXCEPT ARod. To go 12 straight postseason games w/o an RBI is mind boggling. He's been great so far this year and I hope it continues but more importantly I hope he plays well in october. he doesn't need to play out of his mind just well, just like he can. if he's a threat it makes this lineup much more difficult to handle but he hasn't been a threat in recent years in october.

The wild card would be fine. Hard to learn how to lose again to get it after 9 or 10 straight division championships. How many have the Mets had again? Refresh my memory. Oh, wait..doesn't Atlanta play in that division?

I hope we can win the WC and get into the playoffs, that would be amazing. Not every team can be as secure as the Mets. it must be fun knowing your team will win their division every year, they have every since 2006- that's damn impressive!

I guess your mind is boggled easier then mine. We're talking about what, 30odd AB's cherry picked over the course of 3 seasons?

A subway series would be nice. We'll have Clemens by then and he can throw another broken bat at somebody new. He better do it in the first 4 games because it will be over after that.

12 straight games! Bubba Crosby had an RBI in '05 against LAA! Find me a big time player who went 12 straight postseason games w/o an RBI. Find me a big time player who goes an entire series w/o an RBI.

From 04-06 the Yankees averaged 5.58 runs a game in the regular season. In the 12 game stretch we're talking about here they averaged 3.58 runs a game. How do it make sense to put that 2 runs a game on ARods head?

Bonds has gone 12 straight postseason games without an RBI, including an entire 7 game series without one. His time in Pittsburgh he played in 20 postseason games and had 3 RBI. He won the MVP twice out of these 3 years and finished 2nd the year he didn't win.

if ARod got some key hits he could have helped us get 1-2 more runs a game but he failed time after time after time.

Bonds only had 1 series where he didn't have an RBI(1991 LCS) and he was als an embarrassing pressure performer until the steroids kicked in. It is disgraceful to go 12 straight postseason games w/o an RBI.
