The best thing for us 3 years ago would have been for Bosto to trdae Manny for ARod and the yanks to get Schilling, if those things happened the Sox would be on 89 years w/o a title BUT if ARod has truly turned the corner then I want him back. It all depends on what he does this October. if he is typical ARod then he can go to Boston or any team but if he comes through for a change I will want him back.
I can't believe there are people that still believe in nonsense like "clutch". ARod is an extremely talented player on a ridiculous hot streak right now, of course he's bound to get some hits in big situations. This is like when the pre-Balco Bonds was labeled a choker from his time in Pittsburgh, but miraculously when his head grew 2 sizes and he was putting up 1.400 OPS he was all of a sudden "clutch" and had a great postseason for the Giants.
