Wrong again. He had the same number of hits as Giambi and Sheffield. One less then Cano. Really, you should get your facts straight and get off your Arod hate rampage. And since the Yankees paid both Giambi and Sheffield more then they pay Arod, that's where your venom should be aimed.

and how many RBI did he have? ZERO Sheff had 3, matsui had 2, Giambi had 4, Bernie had 1 and barely played in '06, BUBBA CROSBY had 1!!!!!

YOU should get your facts straight.

I have been very critical of Giambi and Sheff but again they have done something, ZERO RBI in 12 consecutive postseason games is a joke.

That is the MOST RIDICULOUS ARGUMENT YOU HAVE EVER MADE.

    NO ONE.

Let me repeat this, just so you "hear" me correctly...

NO ONE, in the American League has EVER started like this. The number of people who have can be counted on a single hand.

Your argument is flat out retarded.

Oh forget it. I took you off ignore just this morning, figuring MAYBE you had something intelligent to say junc.

    I was wrong. Sorry.

    Back to ignore for you.

You said he was playing like this 2 years ago. he has been clutch this year, something he has rarely been in 3+ years here.

I noticed you IGNORED the #s I posted but what else would I expect from you. if you can't hang in the argument then don't get involved.

No, they are much more warm and fuzzy, but that's okay. At least in that pairing, they are BOTH talented.

Everybody here knows that this is what you really want. It will probably come to reality too.

^^Good article, thanks for posting Don. Its one of the things I hate about free agency. The same Yankee fans who are rooting for Arod hard this year, are the same ones who will be booing him next year in, possibly, a Boston Red Sox uniform.

The best thing for us 3 years ago would have been for Bosto to trdae Manny for ARod and the yanks to get Schilling, if those things happened the Sox would be on 89 years w/o a title BUT if ARod has truly turned the corner then I want him back. It all depends on what he does this October. if he is typical ARod then he can go to Boston or any team but if he comes through for a change I will want him back.

I can't believe there are people that still believe in nonsense like "clutch". ARod is an extremely talented player on a ridiculous hot streak right now, of course he's bound to get some hits in big situations.

This is like when the pre-Balco Bonds was labeled a choker from his time in Pittsburgh, but miraculously when his head grew 2 sizes and he was putting up 1.400 OPS he was all of a sudden "clutch" and had a great postseason for the Giants.

When is he "bound to get some hits in big situations" in October?
