He may be putting in work, but I'm more concerned with the quality of his content than how much work he's putting into it. It's like posters who put in a ton of work to write really bad takes, I'm not going to compliment them just because they're putting in work.
So who do you like? I am not a numbers guy I just look for someone that will pique my interest and Nania does it. I don’t worry too much about cherry picking that argument seems to be made when ever someone doesn’t like the bottom line. Nania puts out interesting content, makes him a good follow.
I’m excited to see the offense. Really think they’re the key this season. If they get it together quick the Jets will be in a lot of games.
Me too! Should be a lot of fun. When is the last time the Jets were an offense-first team? I honestly can't remember. And it has hurt them, because the NFL is an offensive league now. Luckily, the Jets seem to have figured that out. Just took them an extra decade or two to realize it! Having a Franchise QB, Top RB, Solid TE and WR's, and an offensive minded coach, should make any Jets fan excited! Like I have said a million times, just need the O-line to protect Sam.
We're still lacking in the WR/Playmaker department & obviously OL. But they finally seem to be making the offense a focal point....of course they STILL had to take yet another god damn interior DL in round 1...hopefully he replicates what he did in college...though I have my doubts.
It's what happens when BPA is all that's considered when making the pick, from what we know. OL, Edge, CB, and to some extent skill position talent will hold this team back this year. Hopefully Douglas improves the OL and CB situations next offseason and Polite shows signs of becoming the Edge rusher the team has lacked for almost a decade and a half. As for WR's, I'd like to take one of the top ones available in next year's draft. I like Jeudy, Higgins, Lamb, and Shenault.
I'm sure, that as a former O/L man, Joe Douglas knows all about our weakness at O/L - even more so once full contact training starts, as our D/L looks like it will be good. I'm hoping that come the end of August we can pick up a player or two from roster cuts to bolster our O/Line. I just hope that we don't pick up any injuries in this area, as our depth here is pretty poor. I'm probably higher on Q Williams than most, as I saw all his games for Bama last year. I'm sure he will be a good player in the long run but it will be interesting to see how he fairs against the more experienced players he will face, especailly in his first few games.
Yeah, I am confident Joe Douglas will fix the O-line in the long run, but it will be hard to do much in 2019. Hopefully he pulls something off and agreed, can't afford any O-line injuries.
I prefer my suffering drawn out. Some say that makes me a masochist. Masochist, Jets fan, what's the difference?
Positives from Week 1: -Our Free Agent Additions looked great! (Mosley, Bell, Crowder) -The Defense forced 4 turnovers in the 1st Half and a safety to start the 2nd Half. -Marcus Maye looks healthy and strong.
