I agree with a lot of the article, but when people try to absolve Hackett for four years of horrendous coaching by saying he was "thrown under the bus," it drives me nuts. The guy lost his job because he was one of if not the worst offensive coordinator in football.
After seeing Chad perform in the opener against Tennessee this year to the opener in KC last year, I totally agree. I was a Herm supporter till he ditched the Jets and us the way he did. I can care less how nice he was with the NY media and how nice he was to Mike & Chris. Herman Edwards has become a fraud and while I'm not smiling with what happened to Trent Green because I don't wish that on any QB including our own, but Herm got what he deserved. He was on the Chiefs end of a debacle at Arrowhead. Instead of our guys getting destroyed and picked apart with Herm on our sidelines in KC, he got a taste of his own medicine on the KC sidelines in Arrowhead. We have ourselves a better Head Coach than what we had since Parcells was here for those three years. Herm did do some things that I will never forget, like taking out that whinny arse baby Peyton Manning and kicking the crap out of him 41-0 and even though fate was with us that year when the Dolphins took out the Pats for the Division title and we beat the Packers, it was well worth. Welcome Mangini. Kiss my (_|_) Herm.
