JV What are we doing today? Make games interesting for me please. I know nothing about CFP. Alabama -13.5. Too high in my opinion. Michigan +7.5 is what I like due to Harbaugh. I think Michigan can win outright. Know nothing about Georgia team or Michigan team so I am betting on Harbaugh. But will listen to you as always.
I have Alabama -13.5 on one ticket and tailed @NYJFOREVER teaser with Michigan and Alabama. I think the game is low scoring in the first half but I don’t think Cincinnati has much of a chance. I heard the statistic today that when Alabama wins CFP games he wins by an average of 18 points. Don’t quote me on that, but Saban with a month to prepare is something that you can generally feel confident about. The question is whether Cincinnati back door covers a 34-17 game with a touchdown with 30 seconds left. I’m looking at a 10-7 game at halftime and then Bama overwhelms in the second half. I’ll post my picks in a little bit. I have Central Michigan +7 for the noon game. They have a monster running back and Washington State is down their future NFL running back and offensive tackle. The CMU running back reminds me of Dalvin Cook. And yes - all over Michigan in a number of ways. I think this game is a pick’em. Kirby plays conservative not to lose, while Harbaugh has nothing to lose. Kirby doesn’t trust his QB and Jimmy H does.
I went all in Michigan +10.5 All in means my entire budget of $50 for the week. I hope Harbaugh doesn't kill me here.
Well I don’t want to sound overconfident but I don’t think Georgia or Michigan have a play style that will allow this game to get out of hand either way. That’s why I like Michigan getting the points. Both teams have strengths that lie in the offensive line and running backs on offense with mediocre quarterbacks they’re going to try to protect. Michigan has a slight edge in pure pass rushers while Georgia is the better run stopping defense. Georgia doesn’t run trick plays while Harbaugh is willing to try it and he runs a lot of underneath crossing routes so McNamara doesn’t hold onto the ball. Both pretty much play base defense but it’s going to be interesting to see if Kirby reverts back to what he did versus Clemson which is blitz the hell on passing downs. He hasn’t really done it since that game because he hasn’t had to.
Here’s what I got so far. Haven’t looked at Michigan/Georgia props too much yet but I think I like James Cook for Georgia over 46.5 rushing yards.
Adding Alabama -11 buy down at -124. Spread is dropping right now and down to 12.5/13 pretty much across the board. Hate 13’s because of missed XP or going for 2 nonsense.
I would think not, but if you’re nervous about it man, you shouldn’t bet it. Cash it out and do your normal parlay game. Betting should be fun, not cause anxiety.
Yep. I hate it when I bet all my money on a single game. That’s why I do small parlays all the time. But in this case, I want to enjoy excitement and anxiety on new years eve. Go Michigan!
