Another Leon to Bush comparison, by career stats:

    Yards: 1550
    Avg: 3.7

    Receiving:
    Attempts: 213
    Yards: 1599
    Avg 7.5

    LEON: (!!!!!!!!!!)
    Rushing:
    Attempts: 285
    Yards: 1377
    Avg: 4.8

    Receiving:
    Attempts: 102
    Yards: 809
    Avg 7.9

Well, there you have it. LEON > Bush. In fact its quite clear, especially when you consider his superior rushing stats and far superior return stats.

Personally I'd take DeAngelo over any of the other backs without question. Williams was clearly the best Running Back in the country, and the best RB in that draft when he enterred (counting Bush more as an overall weapon); it was just a matter of getting his shot. Now that he's emerged, he's not going to go away for a long time. MJD is a nice player, but he's a compliment guy, DA is a feature back, and feature player.

BS. Go look at a Pats board, they hate his ass. He is injured all the time, and when he's healthy he runs like a puss. If he had been healthy and they didn't have to switch to Lamont in week 2, we probably would have won that game.

Williams was a beeeeeaaaaaaast in college. Man that little fucker could play...I loved his running style coming out but I was worried about the wear and tear on his body. He holds the NCAA record for yards from scrimmage and 100 yard games.

I wasn't an MJD fan then either. I love the dude now, I think he could start for a team. But yea...me not being a huge Pac-10 guy then and now plays a part. I thought 5'6 was too short...Williams and MJD taught me a little something about how a RB SHOULD be built...and it's not height that matters.

Thats why I'm a big McCoy fan this year. He's basically a taller version of Williams as far as body type and even running style goes. Like Williams, I expect McCoy to fill out his frame in the pros and feature more power than people expect.
