I have read this and similar statements in multiple threads and each time I cringe at the poor logic behind the statement. 1st, it assumes that the coach was the sole decision-maker. If he was one of many voices in the war room and the GM had the final say then the team's choice tells us little on how the coach feels about his former player. 2nd, let's go with the assumption that the coach made the decision. Just because he chose another QB over his former player does not say that he thinks the former player it terrible. It only says that given the coach's current situation he prefers another QB. When I hear people jump to such exaggerated, childlike conclusions it makes me wonder how long I have left before China conquers this country.
"Simms said Geno Smith should complete all of his college passes in an offense with receivers wide open all over the field. Glennon had to stick balls in tight spots, and he wasn't afraid to pull the trigger on tough throws, which explains his lower completion percentage." I listen to Sims on a few occassion, and ever time he said Glennon could start, Geno should sit. That says it all.
Jaws as well, but in reality each of us could predict with the same ammount of accuracy...you never know
