A little far in the future...but...would you do this?

You've seen our draft record on QB's...do YOU really trust them to actually get someone worth two shits?

You can't make that claim when there's an entire new scouting department and front office in place.

Yeah, our previous draft picks at QB have been terrible, but that remains to be seen with the new staff

And although we've had different GM's, Bradway was a big part of our problem. We have now been given a whole new makeover.

I feel you Falco...problem here is we've drafted like shit for over 40 years...that's a whole lot of different scouting personnel...not sure what that's all about. LOL

Agreed, but I'm hopeful the new regime can make the right moves.

Look, I'd rather keep drafting a guy and missing. We are bound to hit one eventually.

And it concerns the hell out of me that Eli will potentially be released and let walk. If the team that won 2 super bowls with him is letting him walk with no clear starter behind him, something is very fishy.

Agree...draft draft draft...doesn't mean we can't grab a stop gap. It's all academic anyway...the Giants aren't letting him walk.

Yeah, I can't imagine they would.

But I wouldn't consider Eli a stop gap. That's a QB that would command HUGE money if he hit the market.

I'd rather sign a stop gap for a lot less money than that.

Since we have a new GM, and new personnel and scouting leaders and no longer have Bradway, do you actually expect them to draft the same as the buffoons in the past?

we'd go 2-14 every year with Eli

Those 2 wins coming against the Patriots of course

Eli has been playing behind a crap O line for a while now. He may not be Aaron Rodgers, but he is a sight better than Geno. At least he puts the ball in the end zone. If they could put together some talent in the next year or so, and still no promising QB comes out of the draft, why would you not take a chance? You have to try to do it when you can do it. Of course, with this present talent base, Eli would make less sense. Aging lineman, average receivers.....but I say a team can win with a better than average QB with superior talent around him. Eli fits that description.
