Sounds like Arians likes him; the Parcell's comment approaches damning with faint praise. The comments attached to the two year old story are underwhelming. None of it has reached the level of "highly respected." Note the thread in the NFL forum that places Bowles at 27 in rating NFL coaches, precisely the same ranking of the Jets point production in the last two years.
