A damn good place to be ranked...

    This is 100% the truth. If you had told me in August that Jenkins would be lost for the season by week 5, I would guessed our defense would finish no better than dead average, 16/32 at best, yet we are #1? can you imagine what the team would look like with Jenkins dominating in the middle and guys like Pouha and Devito tearing it up on the inside, that is just nuts.

    Before the season if I were told we'd be ranked where we are on D at any point in the season, I would've thought the ONLY way that will happen is if Jenkins stays healthy all year, Revis dominates, Pace is a beast, Rhodes returned to his 06 form and Gholston improves to the point of being a decent situational rusher.

    Of all those things only Revis dominating has happened. Absolutely shocking that we're this good in year one of learning a completely new system...

    This is awesome. The best part is this defense will only get better the longer they are together. Get a good replacement for Jenkins (not because he sucks he is just getting long in the tooth) and this could be the start of something special for the Jets.
