Everybody happy that the draft is much faster and smoother?

I also apologize to Coach K, I was juggling a huge English thing and this thread at the same time last night and I rushed through it a little.

    Warren's fantastic for a 3-4 defense, but really wouldn't be a great fit in a 4-3 so I'm good.

I have a pretty good idea about what to do after the draft and I figured I would share it now as we enter the middle part of the draft which takes days. I'm sure this is a pretty common thought but I'm going to throw it out there for discussion.

We can set up a full 10-15 game season and create different divisions. Each week the matchups can be put up in this section and the board will have the oppurtunity to vote on each matchup for the full week. At the end of the season the top 8 teams or something like that will make the playoffs.

I'm not sure if this is practical but I believe that having a season instead of a tourny is better because different teams matchup against other teams differently. This would be a fair representation of each teams value and draft.

Sounds cool.....I won't win too much because mostly all of my players are very young and I am drafting this team as if I were the GM building for the future..... I don't really have as many of those household names to the average fan, but I like the idea

It's a good idea, but it's been tried on prior drafts on this board and they all flopped in the voting stage.

The only reason I thought this one might work is because everyone knows all the players. With an all time draft it is difficult for some of the younger fans to accurately vote becasue they don't know half the players.

Very true... maybe we'll give it a try. But I'm thinking 2 10 team divisions where they all play each other once and then like 3 interleague games (total of 12).

Jonathan Vilma has another 20 minutes or so before his clock expires.

    Tight is OTC at 2.

I'll have my pick in a second. I was up late last night waiting for Ten's pick, but he didn't make it. So I'll have mine up in a few minutes.

Dansby is a stud out of Auburn, I wanted to get a true young player instead of a really goo dplayer near the end of his prime

After seeing guys like Saturday and Mangold go off, I figured I was getting pretty good value. He's not real young (29), but has at least 5 years of top-level centering left in him, and is regarded as maybe the best in the league.
