There is No QB who is at a better advantage than Sanchez. The Jets rarely play from behind, Sanchez rarely is forced into throwing situations, the Jets Run?Pass ration is the best for a QB in the league keeping defenses from keying on the pass and defenses simply do not respect Sanchez and dare him to pass routinely playing 8-9 in the box. There is no QB in the league that starts with a better advantage than Sanchez. Take a medicore QB and out him in Sanchezs shoes and he might put up Drew Brees type numbers in the situation Sanchez is placed in.

As bad as Sanchez is imagine how bad he would be if defenses played him honestly and protected against the pass. Well we can see how bad it is when he is forced into passing situations.

Yeah it's driving me nuts, he is a second year QB in shitty situations, the real issue now is the pass protection, it's hurting his progression even more when stacked with the bad situational play calling.

I think the real issue is more than just pass protection but i agree w/you in general about Sanchez.

read the conclusion @ the end... Nice write up!
Let's see if they picked up on this internally and make the adjustment.

Well the reason I said the offensive line is more of a problem because it isn't fixable, Woody is out, Hunter is terrible, Mangold has a nagging shoulder injury all season, Slauson started off bad but started to get a lot better, a lot better then expected then he hurt his knee and has been playing a little worse.

Obviously this is a total team effort in sucking, but the way Noam keeps putting it on Sanchez is ridiculous, a second year QB should be given more of a pass for fuck ups then a veteran OC calling stupid plays and veteran receivers dropping passes, that really don't help Sanchez at all.

And obviously something we've all been getting sick of the past two seasons, boneheaded penalties.

I was thinking about this article during the game. He broke every tendency this article was talking about. Throws on 1st down, running the ball on 2nd and 10 after an incompletion, etc. Good first step in getting the O back on track. Now to see of he can keep it up moving forward.

while i have to agree with you that it did seem he broke a lot of the patterns that have us calling him schitty... but when it came down to it, he still made the same mistakes that we all hate him for. mediocrity shouldnt be enough to keep your job when your back is to the wall
