why are you deflecting it to other people? yes bickety did as well. after he along with many others was trolled for weeks on end by who know who. that's what I mean by victim shaming. it's like when someone is bullying someone and finally the person gets fed up and punches them back and someone goes I can't believe you hit him. The issue is the source of the problems and all the bad behavior that follows is due to that. if a certain group of people hadn't been harassing everyone the other posters wouldn't have started back. bickety has been at it for a while no doubt. but not as long as the others and would likely stop if the others did, meanwhile the people that started it refuse to knock it off or listen to reason or basically be an adult about any of this. again the fact you keep using "camps" is really poor taste on your part. there is no camps. that's immature uninvolved human thought. form a group, label anyone who thinks different as another group, then attack that group. that's not the reality of what is happening here. I wasn't a wilson fan boy or a field fan boy. I liked them both, i liked wilson a little more. I was also ok trading down for mac or giving sam another shot. I rarely am as far as the crux goes, block aren't a permanent thing. when they calm down and act like adults again i'll unblock them. but telling people 1 button makes the 100 gifs in every thread disappear It's good advice. instead of telling someone not to block them, you should be telling them stop behaving that way because you deserve to be blocked. if they weren't doing what they are doing, they wouldn't be blocked and none of this would be happening. you don't get rid of a weed by trimming off the top, you have to get to the root of the problem. we all know what the root is. If you want to help, then convince your buddies to knock it off. but they didn't listen to me, or the mods, or NC, or the other people being reasonable so I doubt you'll get anywhere. I know you didn't have bad intentions and i'm always willing to be resonable with anyone who will do the same.
I can definitely understand your reticence to bring up @bicketybam , since he doesn't like other people bringing him up by name in posts on the board, HOWEVER I understand why you felt the need to do so. In bicekty's defense.....he was simply doing what he felt was right and just, in response to the trolling and the GIF Assaults which were occurring in the QB thread at the time. Quite frankly, Bickety had had enough....he thought things had gone too far, and being a man of action (much like myself) he decided to act. He acted decisively and swiftly to combat all of the trolling and GIF nonsense which was occuring at that time. Did he perhaps go too far himself in doing so? Perhaps....but any of Bicekty's "trolling/GIF excesses" if you will, were done in the name of freedom and in defense of the board!!! I really like Bickety.... Bickety is a good dude ...he is just misunderstood sometimes, that's all.
One of the things that newer posters may not know is that TGG had a splitoff of a bunch of good posters a bunch of years ago. The primary cause of that split was inter-group warfare that got out of hand. This explains some of the longer term posters current concerns. This has happened before.
The discussion over being upset about posts on the internet in every thread is worse than any perceived "trolling" or leglers gif trolling. Sarcasm isn't trolling. And why drag NCJetsfan and CC into this? I've given those guys a lot of grief over the years and they've given it back to me and they're not the one that just wrote four long paragraphs about why they're upset like this other clown just did. They know it's part of the game here and is what it is.
Oh does he not, fuck me, I'm in trouble again The point was it was a two way street of trolling, you can't pick and choose who was trolling and if that trolling was justified or not. Besides all of that, this isn't moving the site forward but rather it has now crunched gears from 70mph into reverse.
Maybe we can setup a committee to investigate? There are a couple guys here that really seem to have their finger on the pulse in identifying it.
What I don’t get is blocking someone then proceed to constantly talk about said person while repeatedly letting people know you have this person blocked. In case anybody missed it, I think GAC has me blocked.
