We all know Chad cant make the long throws anymore.

Might have something to do with being the only QB in history to comeback from 2 surgeries on his throwing shoulder.

Yes it was time for Chad to move on from the Jets.

But if you cant respect what the guy has accomplished with a crummy, rebuilding team then thats nothing to brag about.

I give Chad all the credit in the world for beating those two teams. The problem is it was in the classic Dink and dunk give it to the backs fashion that he does it. Unfortunately we have a team that has a chance to win in Jan and he would end our season the way he ended it in the first game against us this year. With a sad interception because he can just not make the throws necessary to win a game when it counts. He played out the scenario half the board was telling you about in the first game this year against us. And for the Record the pats might finish 8-8 this year. They s**K!!!!!

"What if" can be implied to any scenerio and make sense moron. it's called "what if" but im simply pointing out how this thread is pointless and that the defensive additions have been a factor.

relax junc...i can hear you....just can't understand what you're saying....i can't imagine how tough it must be for you to "enunciate" when your mouth is full of Chad's testicles and pubic hair.

Even funnier the second time...BRAVO! in all honesty, junc made a legitimate point. In the phins jets game, chad significantly outplayed brett, and the jets still won because of their far superior talent. Chad has also beaten 2 teams that the Jets werent able to beat. It's a legitimate point that Chad definitely could have lead this far superior team to possibly 10 wins. Now, if you disagree why dont you give some reasons instead of just dreaming about chads cock.

What? I must have watched a different game than you guys did.

Again - the games against the Pats and Chargers were won because the Fins have a superior running game and therefore match up well against those teams.

1st off we don't really know what the record would be if Chad was our QB but....

There is no guaruntee we win the Miami game. Nuge got injured so we had to go for it on 4th down which we scored the game winning TD on. I don't know if Chad gets it done there. And yes he threw an INT with the game on the line.

I don't think we win the Pats game. They outplayed us and most importantly OUTCOACHED us.

The Chargers game: I don't care if we had Joe Montana in his prime throwing to Jerry Rice we weren't winning that game. There is no way San Diego was falling to 0-3 especially after getting the shaft from the officials a week before.

Junc mentions that Chad put up 30 against Green Bay 2 years ago...... yes junc 2 years ago. Chad put up 30 points 3 times last year with 2 of them coming against the 1-15 Dolphins and the other in a loss to Cincinnatti. I'm not so sure that Chad converts all those turnovers into TDs and with an unreliable kicker at the time as well there is no promise of points. We've seen lots of missed oppurtunties with his inability to move the ball in stretches.

Sorry but the Bengals game is usually one we lose with the uninspired effort from the offense. This year we didn't lose that game to a bad team that we should crush.

I'm not saying we're 0-5 with Chad but it's entirely concievable. I think at best we're 3-2 with Chad and as worst 1-4.

    I echo this same point.

Pennington is simply managing the game for the Phins...he's not beating anybody with his arm or his legs.....hell, Sparano is using the wildcat for christ's sakes...he knows that Penny can't beat defenses solely with his QB skills...so the Phins have resorted to confusing opposing defenses with this wildcat formation. It's only a matter of time before opposing d-coordinators snuff this out.

The Phins gave Penny the opportunity to win without using the wildcat formation in week 1......and we all know what happened there....

Im sure they will install a wishbone once the wildcat is figured out. Anything to hide Chad's deficiencies.

If you wanna mention Miami's record last year then I'll mention the Jets record with Chad. Chad P. was 1-8 last year while Favre is 3-2 this year.

We can subtract about 60 yards for Chad. Mangini went into the prevent Defense and padded those stats and the game ended in classic Chad fashion with a pick at the end to Revis. New Team same story. CHAD LOSES AGAIN!

You haven't been watching the Miami games. Pennington looks great, even throwing long.

Still, we did better with Favre. Win-win for Jets and Dolphins, who I think wouldn't be anywhere right now without Pennington.

^^I hope it doesn't last as long as the "favre was a mistake" thread. That title was annoying the hell out of me for about 2 weeks it seemed.

    Well:

    One good game you say?

Last I checked, Favre beat Miami playing pretty darn well. In fact, wasn't it just some more "classic" favre like moments that got the win, such as him getting hit, the ball going 20 yards down field,a nd somehow find an open guy with no one on him type stuff? Call it luck, but those plays seem to just happen with favre. Oh,a nd have you seen miami play? They are turning out to be a solid team on the rise.

    Check: That's a good game.

NE: Alright, it was average day at the office for favre, but the what if games comes into play on the three straight runs in the redzone - had favre, who has more TD passes in the redzone then anyone in history, gotten the ball who knows - maybe he throws a TD, maybe the Jets Win, and Maybe it goes from an average to a Good game. Still it is what it was, so average.

SD: Alright, it wasn't his finest performance. However, he still put up some average numbers, and high completion %. Say what you want about garbage time TD's, but as has shown since, those were very important scores for the chemistry of that offense. had the defense not given up 34 points WITHOUT #4's help, then who knows what happens. It was a total team failure. Still, it wasn't a horrible game for him. Same numbers as last week really, which was again an average game.

Arizona: This is the good game most point to. Actually it wasn't a good game... it was a phenominal game. A highlight point in Favre's career, and I believe it was a career best in QB rating.Bare minimum, this was a GREAT game for #4

Cincy: Average day at the offense, rest of the team shows up, so average is good enough to win.

So we got One Good Game, One Great Game, and 3 average games. No horrible games, and not one loss that can be pinned on him (even SD. SOrry D gave up 34 points without turnovers).

It is 'nuff said, because one game compared to 4 others does not give him that number. He has to be consistently up there, and he has been.
