I would love to see the number of drops made by Jets players this season. Willing to be that even if every dropped pass was a completion, his completion percentage still wouldnt reach 60%.
Braylon certainly drops a few too many balls, but the guy has elite talent. We are fine at receiver, although I think Clowney is more of a deep threat #4 receiver than a slot guy. It'd be perfect if Woodhead could step into that role, but I'm not overly confident he can do that. Also, on Braylon...some elite receivers do drop some balls, like T.O. They make up for it with big plays the next play...which Edwards will start to do once the Jets are able to open up the offense with Sanchez.
I still can't believe the premise of this thread is that we should let Braylon walk and trade for Marshall/Austin. Are we the fucking Raiders? You don't trade for someone and let them walk immediately after.
Have faith in our receivers -- and I have a weird feeling about Woodhead. Wes Welker got cut by the Chargers and was undrafted out of college. Just sayin'
True story people say dump bralyn but whoever you get to replace him wont be better so why not work on real areas like de dt and ol. Give this dude more time to work in this offense and the production will be there.
