I would love to see the Jets draft Jordan Shipley in the middle rounds of this upcoming draft. I think he has the potential to be a great slot WR. The only problem is that they dont have a lot of middle round picks.

Miles Austin will almsot certainly be resigned and dont see us going after Marshall. I think Edwards will be our guy going forward. We gave up two draft picks for him.

Austin hasn't even played a noteworthy full season yet. Don't get ahead of yourself.

I am really tired of Tannembaum trading away picks at this point.

My thing is you drop the ball at crucial points in the game where that first down you catch keeps the chains moving keeps there defense on the field and give us more possession time. He has dropped some game changing catches

He hasnt played a full season your right but the guy has more energy in his route running then braylon has in touchdowns or even catches... He yac is crazy after he catches the ball he knows what to do with it and thats take it up the field.

I'm still waiting for Tanny to trade for Brady and Moss.

Brady would probably throw for about 20 INT's in Schotty's offense. It would be cool to see Moss do a double reverse in the rain inside our own 20 though.

I'm of the opinion Braylon isn't going anywhere either...unless somebody knocks Tanny's socks off with a trade offer (don't see that happening either).

Just wanted to comment on the line i bolded in your post, Harpua.....Uncle Jerry alread threw a ton of money and surrendered a fair amount of draft picks for Roy Williams....I know he's played like garbage....but do you think they'll tie up more money in the WR position...by giving Austin the big contract?

I think the Cowboys jumped the gun when they gave Roy his payday...and now they have to lie in the bed they made. Austin could be made available because of that decision.

    just my 2 cents.

Austin and Marshall aren't going anywhere, why would they? And Edwards is fine. He hasn't dropped as many passes as I thought he would have. He's dropped some pretty critical passes, but it happens. Overall I think he's been an asset to the team.

I'm sure Denver and Dallas can't wait to get rid of their great players. that's what teams do, draft players, hope they are good not so they can keep them, build around them and win, but to just trade them for more potential talent in the draft and start over.

You do not let a walk just because another one at the same position did not work out. Austin is already on the roster, he already knows the system. If they started throwing money at Braylon, Boldin, or Marshall it would be a different story but keeping Austin on the team is the right move. Jones is richer than God, he can pay another WR in an uncapped year. Williams is going to get his bonus money either way and it would be better to correct the problem now rather than wait for later.
