...because Luck has carried this program to the top five. Take Andrew Luck off that team and they'd be lucky to get to a bowl game. The offensive line is very good, but his receivers are mediocre-at-best. He's carried them. He is the kind of quarterback that makes every play around him better. Oregon is a better all-around team.
And I'm not trying to take anything away from Jim Harbaugh because he built this team into what it is, but Andrew Luck is the reason why they are this good. When Luck leaves, they'll become a middle of the pack PAC-12 team again.

i dont know if i'd even make an event out of it if osu and lsu make it, ugh. least with stanford i'd have some crew over. luck needs to throw a quick td and get 2, go out on defense and pick one off, and then throw another quick td and get 2 again. yes. that will do.
I think Luck is a better prospect than Palmer was. Palmer was a pretty big disappointment at USC until he had a big senior season.
They'd match up better against LSU I feel. Their defense just doesn't have the speed to cope with an offense like Oregon. I think LSU would still beat Luck and Stanford safely, but Stanford would make a better game of it than tonight.
