Brett Favre over Phillip Rivers is epic fail. Sorry, Rivers has been a beast this year.

Good group. Congratulations to all of them. They are all deserving. I can't believe 7 is a record number for us.

I don't know that I'd say that Rivers sucks, but he has definitely not gotten the most out of his team. Not a Pro Bowl year.

A beast? I saw him a couple games and he suked. How's he a beast? He has won 6 games with the best personel in football. It's about winning games, not compiling deceiving numbers.

Nice! Favre getting in is pretty questionable, but some other QB will probably fill in for him anyway.

I may actually watch it this year.

Why are we so talented, yet still fighting to make the playoffs? Coaching anybody? Gameplan anybody?

At one point had the best completion percentage I believe in the league and this is with Chris Chambers at the No.1 WR spot and Vincent Jackson at the No.2 and Antonio Gates having a meh year(Dont let the pro bowl fool you, idk how he got in).

Rivers doesnt play defense for SD, which is why the 6 wins are there.

And don't give me the Pennington nonsense. He has 14 td passes for the WHOLE SEASON.

    HERE IS THE BIG QUESTION:
How long will it take for The Jets Shop to start selling all 7 players' AFC Pro Bowl jerseys?

I will say within the next 5 minutes.

Of course they do, it's a popularity contest. It has no real meaning.

Rivers should have made it over Cutler and Favre. To say that he shouldn't have is completely ridiculous.

I really think the 6 wins don't help him. I know thats a team effort, but its tough to justify it from a coaching standpoint. Losers don't make the pro bowl.

Geez, I didn't think any more than five would get in or really deserved it. And I thought that might have been stretching it. Jones, Leon, Jenkins and Faneca and Revis I figured would make it and all are fine with me. Mangold probably too, I'm not boned up on the other centers in the league but I wasn't sure he'd make it with some of the other name players like Mawae, etc.

Favre got it on name recognition, but that's what happens with the Pro Bowl; why else would there be 12 Cowboys and one Giant last year? Even though only 1/3 of it's supposed to be fan voting (and Favre supposedly won that portion).

btw it should be 7 wins for Rivers, remember San Diego was screwed out of that one against Denver because of Hoculi and they'd be tied for the division lead with as good a record as Cutler (plus lost a few games late because of their D), and imo Rivers has had a better season than Cutler. Or Favre.
