The "two way street" rule applies to all these teams ahead on the schedule. You have to believe they're fairly drooling, waiting for the Jets game.
When you have a $17 million dollar corner on your roster, its a damn shame when any receiver lights you up.
Don't see a 5 game winning streak on the horizon. Seen the Jets stumble far too often (and with much better teams than this) while facing such favorable circumstances to have any faith that it can be done.
No kidding, but it's not just Revis. Who TF is Sammie Coates? Yes, a 4.43 is fast but it's hardly rare. Twenty career receptions & two TD's. Six of 'em and both TD's yesterday. For as poorly as he's playing, the guys below Revis still haven't beaten him out. This is playing like a Kafka novel: "Who's in charge here?" "Nobody!"
While the jets are not playing well, most teams in the nfl would lose to Pittsburgh and Seattle. In about three weeks we'll really know who the jets are. Arizona, Baltimore and browns are much easier than what they've had last three.
Our punter is ballin'. Hard to say Enunwa isn't playing at his highest level so far, though we can hope he gets even better.
Thanks for the link. That win felt as bad as a loss. I barely remember Reich on the Jets. I remember Boomer saying on the radio that they were roommates at Maryland. That was around the time that he was a candidate for the Jets' jead coach job.
The shame of it is that was a game we were not out of until half way through the 4th quarter. A good coach would have found a way to win that game rather than finding a way to lose it.
I don't see it happening barring a major miracle. Another sloppy loss or two, and I think Bowles may lose the locker room. At this point, with the way the team is looking, I'm not even sure I'd want them to go on a 5-game winning streak. They probably still wouldn't make the playoffs, and all they'd accomplish would be knocking themselves out of position to draft one of the top QB prospects.
Yeah the Steelers have what we call "coaches". These "coaches" saw film of this team and saw we consistently got burned every week. What "coaches" do is that they try to find weaknesses to exploit. Coates is not a complete player by any means, but he was definitely added to the game plan as they knew our old and slow D would have trouble matching up against him. That's what these "coaches" do, although I've never seen one work here.
Like what 1 reporter said yesterday, you see Brady, that's 2 losses, the Cards in Arizona that's another loss that's 7 already, that won't be enough for the playoffs, sit Fitz, God he stinks, and play Geno or Petty
LOL Sadly, you're right. I'm probably an ass for thinking they would, but I haven't given up on Mac yet.
