Now that Chad is likely gone I have changed my mind completely. We need a QB. This rebuilding will take longer than expected.

Personally i tihnk Cutler is a joke, im not impressed with him what so ever

i would love V.Young if he was there but i doubt it due to the fact that people were beginning to make a case for 1 overall.

I relate Young to Brooks, i would rather have aaron brooks tho cuz then we could draft dbrick, and have some protection for a qb who will be cheaper that a top 5 pick and already proven he can make big plays in the nfl

Brooks is my choice he can scramble and has a rocket arm.

Cutler is a joke? It is debatable whether or not he is worth a top 10 pick, but to say he is overall a JOKE is a little far fetched in my opinion...

Brooks sucked on a team worse then the Jets Joe Horn his only reciever was hurt all year they also had no decent running back.Go do some homework on Aaron Brooks then debate it with me.

I don't need to do any homework. I already knew there sitution this year. I also knew there situation from seasons before the last one and he has never lived up to expectations and he makes HORRENDOUS mistakes...even seasons when he has had a healthy Deuce McAllister and Joe Horn he has made horrible decisions that cost them games...It doesn't matter though...I don't think Aaron Brooks is right for this team. You obviously think otherwise.

Go do your homework. Aaron Brooks has always been a disappointment and Vince Young would have better potential them him. This guy couldn't get it done with a better supporting cast then us last year (Horn, McAlister, Stallworth, Boo Williams) and would not get it done in NY.

Yougn would be a no-brainer at #4.. And BTW, people have to stop complaining about his release... It is lightning fast and similar to that of Drew Bledsoe, who has been a fine passer in the NFL for a while.... So long as a QB has the height, a shot-put release is not a problem...

Yea- lets call the kid that has zero NFL passes to a ProBowler and one of the most dangerous weapons in the NFL. That makes sense.

Ummm no we don't need to draft Young. Majority of people who know about mechanics and NFL offensive systems know the guy has huge bust written all over him. It's kind of funny but Vince Young and his offense remind me alot of Alex Smith at Utah. A scrambler that doesn't read the defense and plays in a gimmick offense. Granted he is twice the player Smith is but the apples don't fall too far from the tree with these gimmick QB's. Just to let you know why we don't need a scrambling QB... of the 12 QB's that made the playoffs this year they averaged as a whole under 5 yards rushing PER GAME

If Young is on the board when we are picking we need to look to Oakland or Arizona maybe even Detroit to trade with. Drop down and stay inside the top 10 grab another 2nd and draft a guy like DeAngelo Williams or Lendale White

He means when Vick and Young were coming out of college. Young should've won the Heisman like Vick did... and I wouldn't believe if Vick had better stats in his last year then Young did.

He also won a playoff game @Packers. He's also the most potent and dangerous player in the game. Young is more then that. Young has a much stronger arm then Vick and the only thing that he doesn't have is Vick's juking ability. That can be replaced by the running guys over ability that Young has... he should still be able to run over some of the LB's in the NFL and all of the DBs.

    He's still a horrible QB.

Young may not be the 'athlete' Vick is, but the last time I looked most QBs were middle-of-the-pack type NFL athletes to begin with. However, Young has displayed the ability to improve his passing game, instead of relying solely on his feet and some rocket-bomb passes. I'm not a big fan of Young, but he has a lot more upside right now than Vick had when he came into the league.

Although I am against the gamble of taking a QB with our #4, if you are going to gamble - gamble big. I wouldn't have much reservation about Vince as a pro. It would also tell me that we have embraced the idea of rebuilding which is refreshing. I guess my next question would be - Do you let him start right out of the gate?
