He could be utilized similar to Seymour, but I don't think he's got the same strengths as Seymour to be extremely effective in the 3-4. He's much better suited to be a 4-3 DE. He'd still be solid in the 3-4, but for picking at #4, I don't think it'd be worth it. If we traded Abe and still were running a 4-3, he would be a great pick. Unless they really think they can still get his maximum ability out while running the 3-4, I don't think we'll draft him if he's available at our spot.
If I were a gambling man, I'd make a 3-year bet that the best player in this draft isn't even chosen in the Top 5. I don't know who he is, but that happens a hell of a lot.
Umm lets give credit where credit is due. Pace is amazing - no doubt about. Here comes the but... but did Pace make Marshall Faulk, Tory Holt and Isaac Bruce better players? Did the HC throwing all game long have anything to do with Kurt's gaudy numbers? I think if you plug an average LT into that offense they still would have been the greatest show on turf. Remove the gamebreakers and leave Pace definitely not. P.S. The Jets have ZERO offensive gamebreakers.
