Poeple who live in glass houses... Who cares what who said... The Jets, starting with the coach and then the players, all have big mouths. So even if someone else says something the Jets have no grounds to call anyone else out for having a big mouth. Better to let ones play to ones talking.
All the talking is just that..BB, Rex, Cro, Brady, Welker whomever. Its a rivalry, people talk...if you can dish then take it. Unfortunately BB is mistaken on this one, his offense did not drop 38 on the Jets...24 of those pts where off our turnovers where they had a short field. 38 pts is 38 pts, I get that - but it does not accurately depict the story from last night.
that simply isn't true. if my arguments were ad hominems they would depend on simply stating someones arguments are wrong because they are an idiot. that's not the case. their idiocy is simply a conclusion arrived after the ridiculousness of their argument has shown to have no merit. the attack isn't part of the argument at all, so it isn't an ad hominem. it's just a bonus.
They scored on 6 of their first 10 possessions, their QB had a 118.6 rating, and they weren't all that short field drives. Scoring drives: Own 20 Own 27 Own 20 Own 20 Own 43 Own 16. we actually had better field position. Pats average starting field position was the 22. ours was the 29. Stop making excuses, they scored a legit 30 on the defense.
I don't think so. If Sanchez can't take advantage of that defense, he's not going to put up any points at all against other defenses.
I am obviously a Pats fan, but got bored and made this. (hopefully obvious) reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIlKtFEmWeQ
It also could be bullshit. The Post has a rep for making up bullshit. Where is the evidence or corroboration?
Do we really care what either coach says. Face it newspapers and TV stations are under increasing pressure to keep their media afloat, this results in a bunch of shit being heaped on the public. I take every news report/article/tweet with a huge grain of salt.
http://www.jerseyjetsfan.com/2011/11/14/rex-ryan-tells-fan-to-stfu-being-investigated-by-nfl/ he wouldn't do anything like that.
When you take an ass-whupping from scrubs, THAT'S AN ELITE TEAM!!! How many trips to the SB have they taken since our last one???
What I mean by appreciating how far this franchise has come is that I feel Rex has installed a winning mentality here, a foundation for a long run of winning football. That's something this club has never experienced, at least in my lifetime. Whether or not it brings a Super Bowl is yet to be determined - it took Cowher over 10 years to win one. Rex deserves respect for changing the culture of the Jets, not getting unfairly called out by his own fans because he hasn't won a Super Bowl by only his third year as coach. He also deserves patience from the fans after a bad loss or even a bad season.
It was 37 points and field position had absolutely nothing to do with the Pats offense scoring 30(Def scored a td for 37). The Jets had BETTER field position than the Pats. When exactly did the Pats start with a short field and turn that into a TD or a field goal?
