I'm not crazy about the trade...I really wanted a package of picks. Hopefully we package 4 and 29 for #2

Better than Hawks deal. So good job FO.

Now we have 3 of the first 36 picks in a very deep draft.

    Not bad.

JA will be missed, but maybe Mario could lessen that pain...

Falcons | Abraham acquired in trade
    Tue, 21 Mar 2006 15:58:06 -0800

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the New York Jets have traded DE John Abraham to the Atlanta Falcons as part of a three-way trade between the Jets, Falcons and the Denver Broncos. If the trade is approved, then the Falcons will have traded their first-round pick, No. 15 overall, to Denver, who in turn will trade their first-round pick, No. 29 overall, and two additional picks to Atlanta. Atlanta then sends the 29th pick to the Jets for Abraham. The Jets would receive a draft pick two slots higher in the first round than the Seattle Seahawks were able to offer.

this has to be true im watching NFL Total Access

and they talked about How the seahawks went for abe but signed peterson and then how abraham came to terms with the falcons

then rich eisen said "where will he go? we will have Adam Schefter reporting later in the program"

so yeah im assuming they got the news but are waiting for the official approval before they let Schefter report it

seriously get Leinart out of your head

the best thing we can do now is go for Super Mario at 4 and Mangold or Max Jean Gilles at 29

lol....I bet you guys are happy that you got a 1st round pick after all....im actaully ok with it because we get 2 extra picks from the broncos. I have to say that this deal worked out for everyone. Props to the GMs for getting this deal done.

at least he is likely to be happier being a member of the team, which makes him better by default...
