Why does this B.S. surprise anyone? Jets players since Joe Namath have always been second class citizens in this town.

So Brandon Jacobs is a better player than Mangold, Rhodes, Revis, Harris, Jenkins...?

    Yea, OK.

Dudes still one of the top goalies in the NHL. Even throwing away the fact that I'm a Devils fan for a second...Brodeur >>> Lundquist.

The Rangers owning the Devils is probably the reason for this. Overall, when Lundy's short career is compared to Broduer's, Marty still wins.

Eli had one good month, how in the World can he be #4? How can there not be any Jets? Whether it's Rhodes, Coles, Cotch, Harris, Revis. It's a silly list.

No disrespect to Faneca, but his play dipped before he left and he's trying to reboot his aging career with the Jets. I don't see David Harris on this list, or Kerry Rhodes, or Cotchery. This is a crap list.

This list must be based on reputation.

If it were numbers-wise, and based on this year, Giambi and Matsui are higher than A-Rod.

Not to mention Santana can't get any help for a win.

Correction, A-Rod does have better numbers than Matsui (should have checked before I posted.) However, Matsui has better numbers than Jeter and so does Giambi so use the former argument for those 3.

If 44 wins, a 2.17 GGA and a .920 Save perecentage is losing it, I hope DP loses it sooner rather than later for the Isles.

Marty is still one of, if not the best in the game. Henrik Lundqvist put up similar numbers (37w, 2.23 GAA and .912 SP) and is very good, but has not come through in the big games yet like Marty has. Putting them in the same mention is silly ATM, but ranger fans would never get that.

He is still one of the best in the game but is not even close to what he used to be. If you watched any regular season or playoff matchups between the devils and rangers you would see the King Henrik just dominated and did what a great goaltender does. He is no Brodeur YET but when his career is said and done, he might not have as many rings, but his stats will be up there with the best.

    1. I hate the guy but he lead his team to the SB and won, and at the end of the day that is what it is all about.
