Something to think about for sure, the Colts pick could be in the late teens/early 20s, teams like to trade up to there. Teams that already used a 1st like to trade there to get another player they almost picked, and teams that pick later like the spot because they are usually contenders and dont want to miss out on someone they think can push them over the edge. Could easily move the Colts pick down to the 2nd and pick up, yet another, first in 2027. We would be loaded up
Yeah this is where I'm at. Unless the Raiders or Browns get the first overall pick and don't want to trade it, I'll be surprised if we don't trade up. We have more ammo to do it than anyone else and it's just too risky for Glenn and Mougey not to do so. They're goners if we have another season like this one next year.
The Raiders now have two winnable games against the Giants and Chiefs. I doubt Carrol who is likely getting fired cares about tanking and probably wants to win so he can stay. I think Raiders get a win.
He can't win. Carroll and the Raiders are finished and will have #1 pick. Our best hope is to finish 4th, have the Titans at #2 and then jump the Browns for Moore. If the Raiders and the Browns finish #1 and #2 we are fucked.
He can win. The Giants and Chiefs without Mahomes are winnable. Pete Carrol is getting fired if he loses out. He has an incentive to win.
He hasn't won in months and it is getting worse though. 0:31 in the last game. Giants stink too but they show a little bit of life.
Oh I remember, you wanted us to hire Pete Carroll and now he's one of the very tiny few in the entire league that is actually doing worse than Aaron Glenn. I expect a Nadia-esque performance of troll logic gymnastics out of you going forward.
Sorry folks, wasn't implying anything about Pavia, no idea who he is other than the fluff pieces on ESPN. Just wondered seeing as he's the only Vandy guy ever nominated or some stuff like that. Had no idea he was a tool on top of all that.
Pete Carroll would have more than 3 wins with this team. I also said I would have taken Mccarthy or Vrabel to. Anyone but Glenn.
Right there with you…I hated the hire as soon as it was announced I didn’t want a rookie defensive guy (would have been good with Vrabel as a proven coach) yet again, and then specifically I just didn’t think AG did anything special at Detroit
Many Detroit fans know he was awful and celebrated when he left. I dont know what the Jets saw other than him being the only guy that would fire AR.
Detroit fans are happy he's gone and any team that was looking for a coach last year are glad they dodged a bullet. We took the bullet right to the face because Woody is an idiot lol.
That’s the story of this whole franchise if you haven’t caught on already The New York Jets are just a woody business decision And he hires people like Glenn and Aaron Rodgers to fill seats There’s absolutely no long-term vision other than money that’s why we have one shitty management team after the next
Only the Jets franchise thinks the "culture" of being a 3 or 4 win team vs. 2 win team is more important than being in position for the top QB in the draft. Meaningless last-minute garbage wins gonna cost the franchise at least an extra 1st if they want their QB.
