if nothing else I think he’s a solid backup in the league, like Gardner Minshew

He needs to get smarter with the ball, and fast, or he’s going to get eaten alive in conference play. It’s only half-time and he has four INTs in two games. I only saw one of them. Plenty of time, beautiful throw - two feet over the WR’s head.

Strap in. Arch doesn’t have a real game again for another month.

I don’t know if Mateer is an NFL starting QB, but he’s the kind of guy who makes me believe he can make a play when a play needs to be made. First series he did just that. Since then, the OK offense and special teams have done everything they can to keep Michigan in this game.

Hah. Nico is helping put Joey Aguilar into an NFL training camp.

I’m souring on Mateer. He throws the ball like he’s looking at a shooting video game and as soon as he can see some movement he fires regardless of what’s there.

I’ll wait for more games to give my official judgement although I saw the same shit at Wazzou.

Might be one of those guys who’s just fun to watch in college. He has like four throwing styles and I’ve yet to see his side-arm throw lead to good things.

Off-topic - Michigan players with 30 helmet stickers in Week Two is stupid and wrong.

I expect Philly to run to the podium when he slides back a few rounds ;)

As a fan of Wazzu, I watched a lot of his games.

If I am a GM, I am looking at Mateer or Sellars. The biggest knock on Mateer is his size
