How is it possible that we simultaneously don't teach our defenders to punch the ball out AND can't tackle for shit? If there's any reason to not teach defenders to punch the ball out, I'd think it'd be in the name of making good, technical form tackles. We suck at that too though. What are we even doing during practice? Are our coaches just completely in over their heads yet again?

Appreciate it. Some people might say this. Other people might say I’m a fucking idiot. Silver lining… So many people were gone halfway through the third quarter there was barely any traffic and got back to Connecticut in 90 minutes. Highlight of my day outside of the broccoli rabe at the tailgate.

I truly have no idea what to say. I’ve never seen a team look at this incompetent over an entire one month stretch. I know the roster is terrible but there are things happening that shouldn’t be happening more than two weeks in a row, or shouldn’t be happening at all. We are a mess top to bottom And I can’t figure out a single thing we do at a high level. Fuck, even at an average level. Mason Taylor looks good I guess? I’d love to put the run game on a pedestal but we can’t stop fucking giving the ball away. Fortunately there is so much we do poorly that we can’t even start to talk about the quarterback who can’t play the position until we are down 14. I’m baffled. at a loss for words. And that says something coming from a fan of a team that is one of the most historically inept franchises in the history of the sport.
