That PI call on AZ was so weak. One of the Brownlee calls was definitely PI, it was on a ball up the seam but I was more alarmed at how lost he looked. Guys were running free and he was the closest defender. Hopefully an outlier but it’s not exactly going to get easier against the Pats without AZ.
All I saw was a 'highlight' clip of him face-planting in the end zone while giving up 2 points... I was never a fan of Sauce's game...
Btw, here is another Josh Allen flop of the week: https://x.com/NYJ_Matt/status/1987609280028016812 The guy runs past him, barely touches him in the chest, Allen jumps backwards pointing at his head multiple times...
He's so wildly unlikable it's insane. He's an elite thrower and a physical specimen, why does he feel the need to flop? Just go be elite.
I was a fan of Sauce's game as a rookie. He did some jaw dropping things that season and earned the DROY. After that, he started sniffing his own armpits and hanging out with Lord Aaron at the Knicks game and only declined.
Allen has seen the flop in practice everytime he played KC and Mahomes. I guess he figures if it worked for Mahomes, it should work for him too.
Btw, coming off historic ST return performance, remember this guy: https://x.com/MLFootball/status/1988087290233844059
Not sure why he's getting roasted. The Packers touched the ball first which means the Eagles can pick it up and advance it without having to worry about a turnover. If he fumbled it would have been a dead ball where he fumbled even if it was in the endzone. There was 0 to lose by picking it up and trying to get beyond the 1/2 yard line which is where everyone thought it was considering the play wasn't blown dead. Doesn't change the fact that Gipson sucks though.
Because he ran it back into the end zone and was 1/2 a yard away from safety. Usually in this situation the kicking team does not want to touch the ball.
Once the kicking team touches it, the worst thing that can happen is the Eagles get the ball where the Packers first touched it. There is no possibility of getting safetied, losing the football or losing field position.
Oh wow, I thought he messed up again, and it is a live ball that can be turned over, but it was actually a smart play. Interesting thing is, the guy keeps getting picked up from the waivers. Never actually cleared it even though two teams waived him now. And close to home each time.
