It’s probably a mix. They just said Myers was yelling who’s the MIKE? He’s a veteran center. Veteran centers should be able to identify the MIKE and make the call.

I'm generally in favor of being very aggressive on 4th down but the usual calculus goes out the window when you can't pass the ball remotely well.

I'll put 100 dollars at some point teams figure it out and go on all 4 downs almost every time against the jets. This may be a historically bad 3rd/4th down defense.

 

They just do not trust Fields to throw, but they paid him $30m soooo, he's gonna play.

 

3.5 games in and I have serious questions and doubts about Aaron Glenn as coach.

 

I doubt Glenn will do it but Fields is clearly in over his head. He should seriously consider a switch at halftime unless they want to double down and run at even higher rate.

 

i wanted a run on 3rd and if they dont get the 1st hopefully its 4th and 1 or 2 and run it again.

 

This is really, ultimately what it comes down to. The sad thing is it's never, ever going to happen.

 

They had one in the 1st game for a TD...from Fields.
