I don't disagree, but the display of tackling today is beyond that. They look like they have no clue. No refresher course is going to fix the nonsense we've seen from this defense today.
Jets are done for the year. I would ask that when you look back on this game, realize that today was Cook's NFL debut.
This is on coaching. This is on whomever it is that's in charge of the defense this year. Next TC, the entire Defense should be doing xtra training in tackling techniques. God willing we'll have a different DC in charge. Hire a wrestler to instruct the grasp. Hire a judo artist to teach leverages. Something has to change and we're talking PDQ.
