I mean outside of Tyrod taking that awful sack… Really not much to complain about. I would like to see something a little more creative in the run game instead of running up the middle every single time but it’s opened up the field for Metchie and Tyrod had the bomb to Mitchell Which is probably a touchdown on a better throw. I have no delusions that we’re going to win this game but not sure we could’ve asked much more from the players or the staff in that first half
Terrible. And he missed a open WR down the field the play before. Tyrod ain't giving us enough, man. We need more.
I'm almost willing to start believing this staff might know something about defense. Things have actually looked better to me since we traded away our nominal two best players. I really like Thomas and JJohnson is just fantastic.
Where's Mason? Where are the other WRs? I get that Metchie & Mitchell are showing ability but the coaches have to throw the players that have been here all along some balls too. It doesn't make sense to me to ignore the guys that have been here all along that know the playbook like the back of their hand.
In my humble opinion. Our GM has done a much better job so far quietly than our HC has done loudly. His under the radar acquisition with the trades are great surprises. Briggs and Metchie have impressed me. Hope he continues to shape the team with two strong drafts. QB will be the center piece.
I dunno man after the slop we’ve been forced to watch this year from Justin Fields, I have absolutely no problems with the quarterback taking what’s open. Yeah I’d love to see the young guys get more shots but the ball is moving
Players have to get open to get the ball, it's not forced. Also we have had a QB change, so that also tends to reset some of the familiarity with the players. And I expect the new guys to know the playbook as well. I'm just happy someone is getting targeted with passes that are actually on target.
Aside from the run on 3rd setting up to go for it on fourth then eating it and punting which was weird af the offense is clicking. Metchie making a name for himself, I can see a world where we don't need a WR high in the draft but still need to see more from these guys, playing Tyrod was definitely the move. Atleast you can start to see where we can have a real NFL team again, Ravens do look like shit but they have won 4 straight.
