He has not looked Aaron Rodgers to me, you can come up with all sorts of excuses, but he has been - not good. I have watched football for a long time. I know when a player looks hype to be on the field and when someone is going through the motions. He has been on automatic pilot. https://nypost.com/2024/11/01/sport...realization-after-jets-disastrous-first-half/
i can see the ST coach, " So... make sure you HIT The center, its 15 yds for them, DONT FORGET" WR coach... you see the Goal line coming up start to let the ball go to make sure its BEFORE the line!" tired ass limited mind sound bite re: coaching
That game was painful, literally for the players. What were there 15 injury timeouts? The catch(es) by Garret were huge. But Quinnen won it for us. He got in Stroud's head early and gave him the yips, and stayed there all night.
Disagree. If the coaches put the fear of Lombardi into the entire team from day one you wouldn't see such idiocy. That's part of the job. Whatever method they are using, if any, to avoid that kind of crap is not working.
I’m happy BUT. The downside of winning the game is that it gives you renewed hope, only to be left standing at the altar once again. It was a painful, miserable first half, frocked with dumb penalties and poor performance by many, starting with AR. This group of players is still far from giving you confidence that they can play together as a team, with good execution and no self inflicted wounds for 4 quarters, causing us to reverse opposing fourth down situations or for us taking points of the board. I will always hope but I’m not even cautiously optimistic anymore.
