I think the Jets have better odds of winning than most people are giving them credit for, but the team is also a mess now in a way it wasn't for a good chunk of the season.
The Jets lack heart which, IMO, is the kiss of death. When you have no heart you lose against the teams they've been losing to. 13-10 Texans.
Jets win Thursday night for the simple reason that it's what they do best. Once our season is practically over they give us a tiny bit of false hope.
The way they have been playing, there is absolutely no way they should win. However; now that they are virtually eliminated from any playoff hopes they probably find a way to pull one out and preserve their false hopes.
Yeah and TBD Kicker will basically be a guy who was doing exactly what Greg had been doing but for some other team, yet they kicked 5 in a row for 1 practice for the Jets.
Wait, Zeurlein was placed on IR? I mean the guy came out and said himself that it wasn't injury related. He has the yips. They just IR'd a kicker for the yips.
Brook my sympathies for another disappointing season. Save your money next time on a nice dinner instead of allowing Woody to get richer. I think Rodgers should be sent to a dark cave because he might find more peace there, he is a real tool.
The only thing that even makes me second guess that the Jets will get embarrassed is all the money in Vegas is on Houston including the fact that the Jets are a 1.5 favorite (makes no sense) . Which leads me to think that the fix may be in....

I already cast my vote for a Jets loss but that was before I read this thread and saw the point spread. I’m not a bettor, but in my (admittedly limited and purely anecdotal) experience, when the spread is fishy like this it means someone knows something most don’t and you should lean into it. So I will not be at all surprised if the Jets win.
Jets are 0-5 against the spread in their last 5 games so that doesnt mean anything Unless the refs put their life savings on the game for the jets to cover.
I hope Mike Williams kills it tonight so we can get 7th rounder for him. That'll put over the top in next year's draft.

The Jets have been a disaster this season, but they're really not as bad as the record indicates. The Texans, on the other hand, aren't as good as their record indicates. They have a plus-9 point differential, which is more indicative of a .500 team. Plus, the offense took another hit with the season-ending knee injury to WR Stefon Diggs.
I want this game more then i want any left on our schedule. Spent a lot of time talking down on that Texans team being just as overhyped and overrated as we are. Prove me right tonight boys. Give me that at least with playoff hopes out the window.
