You know, there's a STRONG part of me that agrees. However, there's that nagging, same ole' jets, feeling that I would rather the team not see either one. So highly unlikely but it would just SUCK if they beat their former team. Not sure I would be happy with that. But let's face it. Denver, for sure, it's not likely to happen but Minny...they're strong, talented and that D is nothing to sneeze at. AND they'll BOTH be on the road, in London. I don't know...
I'd love to see Aaron and a couple of other guys talk some shit to him along the sideline during a blowout. The cocky fuck. At the risk of setting myself up for a downer...
https://predominantlyorange.com/pos...sean-payton-game-plan-for-bo-nix-01j88b8spgnt The Steelers corners were laughing at Sean Payton's game plan for Nix.
This is a game the same old Jets would lose. If we have truly turned the corner we should win this game fairly easily.
Very well said. I thought about the same thing. A dominant win at home in prime time, 10 day break and playing at home to a lesser opponent. Old Jets teams could easily lose this game. We shall see what this team will do. Hopefully we don't overlook this game.
Agreed. This, right here, is a "Same Ole' Jets" moment that the team MUST overcome!! They must come out of that tunnel and do what they did to the Patriots. Dominate. For 60 minutes. IF they can pull that off we can begin to discuss this season and turning the corner.
We have tended to play very poorly after a bye…while this isn’t really a bye week it does feel kind of like one. The historical Jets tendency to play down to competition combined with the tendency to suck out of a bye combined to the tendency to read our own press clippings and get a bit too complacent makes this a risky game for us. We *should* come out and mop up the Broncos at home with a rookie QB, and in fact I would expect a performance similar to what we did to the Patriots. So this will tell us a lot about if we are the “same ol’ Jets” or if we really are different now. Let’s go!
I was just pouring over the team stats a bit... Broncos have given up about 140/game on the ground.and only run for 80/game. If we can run decent and defend the run decent ..... I think our pass O vs their pass O favors us quite a bit.
Apparently, Payton is having the team 'hunker down' at a resort in West Virginia for the week prior to the Jets game. He wants to avoid flying back and forth to the east coast. He thinks it'll help the Broncos "grow as a team".....
I just want to see what Zach Wilson's hair looks Iike now. In the offseason, he looked like the Cabbage Patch Kids version of Prince Adam.
Well the big difference here is that the Jets are at home. Last 2 Denver games were on the road. Hopefully he makes it!
Like a lot of the posters have pointed out, this game has typical SOJ death written all over it. Hopefully things are different this year. Despite the fact that I should know better, I'm going to be cautiously optimistic.
This seems like a reasonable place to ask this question--what happened to @NCJetsfan ? I truly hope his health is well--If you're still walking the earth you should pop in--and if you are in the afterlife, continue intervening for the jets--thx!
