I can see the Jets gut-stomping the Titans on Sunday, then getting so high on themselves that they get smacked at home by the Patriots. Especially if the really stupid personnel usage continues.
I picked Jets. Will Levis was pretty bad v the Bears. Caleb Williams was rookie bad. Like bad. Will Levis was even worse.
At the end of the day last week should have been a big reality check to anybody who's been happily chugging down the click chasing "Superbowl contenders" koolaid for a second year in a row now. With the further bubble burst acknowledgement that upgrading QB to a 40yo Rodgers in the LaFleur'less Hackett offense was never going to realistically see that said offense make the jump from historically terrible to league average without a coaching room change. At best it was always most likely to meet somewhere in the middle. Week 2 should be a much more winnable game for this roster then SF was, but like us I expect the Titans to also look better after making week 1 adjustments. Probably making it a harder fought potential W then initially anticipated coming in to the season. Panic time for me will come more out of a potential scenario of not being able to handily beat that Patriots team in week 3.
For the love of god, they better win. I'm going to miss games 3 & 4 for a Greek Isle cruise so I'd like to leave on a high note.
My head tells me the same but my gut….I don’t know. Could be a nerve wracking squeaker…overall the Jets have more talent but TN has a huge OL. The D may be a bit motivated but it’s gonna be awfully humid down there in those dark jerseys….they need to limit those long time consuming drives.
The titans are no where near the 49ers in terms of talent or coaching. This game might be close, but honestly I think the Jets are going to bounce back here and win by more than a TD. Their defense looks decent, but not sure if that's just because the Bears were awful on offense or not. Obviously it's no walk in the park, but I see the Jets defense doing good things in this one.
Their run game and scheme is very good and it should worry us considering what we just saw last Monday. Callahan will make it very difficult on us.
We're 3.5 point faves... for what that's worth. The thing I took from week 1 was how badly coached this team is... on both sides of the ball. Gotta do better... don't know if they are capable of it.
checked out of NFL to be honest but will still watch all Jets game as a miserable fan. Too bad I have tickets to 3 home games.
Things will get better. I just spent 30 minutes with my cardiologist. He spent 25 minutes gloating over his 49er's and the way they curb stomped the Jets. I shouldn't have worn a Jets t-shirt...
Me too. I'd feel better if this game was at home. Also, Tennessee was up 17 on the road before they gave up a block punt for a TD and one of the worst pick 6s you'll see this season for Chicago to get back in it. I'd be curious to see, under this coaching staff(hell, any Jet team last 10 years) how many games they actually won when they were favored.......
I will have to see the finished product. I am done taking their flyers. The onus is on them to prove me wrong. I'd say something like 27-17 Titans.
