2024 NFL Season - Week 1: Jets at 49ers

The problem is...we ARE a Super Bowl level team in talent. There is practically fantasy team level talent here, but the coaching doesn't seem to be able to use it.

 

Would be nice to see the Jets change the narrative.

In the part of the game I've watched they've been non-competitive.

Very disappointing.

 

My guess is the halftime adjustment from Hackett will be run right, run left, 3 yard pass which will be much different from the run left, run right, 2 yard pass in the first half. Pure genius!

 

Mason looking like Barry Sanders out there. D needs to step up. Offense needs to get more drives and get more weapons involved. Hackett needs to be more aggressive.

 

It's okay because Rodgers will fix all that when he gets back.

 

Not even close. If this is what they're going to look like all season, it's going to be a fight to get that #7 seed.

Defensive gameplan has sucked.

Jets offense hasn't been able to sustain drives in the part of the game I watched.

Dropped pass, fumble, poor clock management, poor personel management (Sauce off the field!?!?!), no adjustments at all, predictable play calling run left run right, 3rd down and long. Saleh and his crew are our biggest weakness and it’s not even close.

 

Which is simply the most frustrating thing about this whole mess!

I'm bored to tears watching this while my 49'er fan wife is doing her level best to say encouraging things about Rodgers et. al. This is just a sad display top to bottom, so far. I'd better see some semblance of the 98' Jets in the 2nd half!

Pretty sure Saleh said at halftime "If only I had Nick Bosa and Trent Williams"

 

Reality is probably setting in for Rodgers in the locker room at halftime. Now he knows firsthand what he signed up for coming to this franchise.

I don't know what's more shocking about that stat. That his record when trailing at the half is that bad or that he's somehow won 7 games when in such a situation.
